Competition Towards Other Websites
1.) Against NTUC FairPrice

this ntuc fairprice's website is congested with information. It does have about the same type of information that cold storage's website provided. it have categorised the different section at the top for easier access.
At the right hand side of the page, it shows the shopping cart, of which what items that the customer has chose. This feature enables the customer to know how much they had ordered at a glance, which Cold Storage's website has it but not as detailed. Cold storage only provides the full details of the items when the customer is checking out/making payment.
2.) Against Carrefour
Carrefour's website gives the lastest events and promotions goin on, including news of various house brands and wine collection. However, being one of the hypermarket locally, it does not have online shopping which require their shoppers to go down personally to shop in their store. This is one big disadvantage as compared to Cold Storage.
Carrefour's website do have some extra interesting information for online-surfers, for example, informing them of healthy eating n living. it is on Carrefour life which is actually advertising for its own store.
